So I know I don't post much, but I'm really sorry I missed this yesterday. I probably wouldn't if I had gone home instead of down to manahawkin, but I had business to attend to. Mainly, picking up my credit card from the shore & then going to work at 4. Grrr. Arg. :) Maybe next time I'll pick up on another project like that one. Having two machetes, block-offable stairs and the zombie survival guide and a Walgreen's down the street, i could totally survive for a couple of days should there be a zombie attack. Or a riot. Whichever.

Besides that, right now it's just work and waiting for my Wisdom teeth to come out. I'm having them out on the 23rd, which should be a totally fun day for all involved. I have some sort of infection b/c my bottom teeth came in impacted, and pointing toward the front so the doc gave me penicillin and super ibuprofen to tide me over tile they come out. Hence why I had to go get my credit card - I don't exactly have dental insurance, and in no way can afford the 600$ pricetag this stupid infection will cost me. I barely scraped together for the check up (which they refused to bill me for because of my reduced-fee plan). I know owe Mike about 250 bucks, 1) for the ferrets and 2) for my teeth. Plus there's utilities coming up, and then rent. Mmmmm. Awesome fun. Come to think of it, I really did need to take last night to relax and break my brain down for a bit. Thank You Sir. I appreciate that. I was all kinds of exactly where I needed to be.

Alright, enough being a lazy bum. I have to clean up the room a bit and shower, and I have work in an hour and a half~ish.

Yup, there's a saturday class on there. I wouldn't've taken it, but I want to take longer classes that meet once a week, so there's less driving time (since i'll be commuting), and more time for me to work. I don't have any friday classes, and only one wednesday class, which isn't so bad. More than likely I'm going to make my availability at work Monday and Wednesday lunch shifts, with Friday, Saturday or Sunday closing. I haven't decided yet if i want to work fridays and have just Sunday completely free. What I do know, though, is that I want *atleast* one day completely free, with no place to go. No more of this 7 days a week busy crap. Also, I left room to work a couple hours in at the library, if I work there again, when there's no shift available at the Apple. (Like wednesdays 4-6, Saturday after noon for a couple hours tuesday & thursday mornings, etc). That's the glory of being able to work for a couple hours (meaning, yes, two or three) here or there on government pay.

Innn other news, I direly need an oil change for my car, and I should go back to the doctor soon for my biannual (?) checkup. Blech. I really don't want to. *hides under covers*

briska06: No, i'm done studying for a couple days. Spring break is on the way. Last night was all about socialization. A bunch of old alumni were at the house, so me & Mike went out to hang and ended up staying out til 4.

briska06: Honestly, at this point, I couldn't imagine my life without him. He's so wonderful.

briska06: fraternity, collyo, it's coed. And things are fine now. Everyone got over whatever their beef was :-)
briska06: I don't know. Honeymoon phase usually ends at about 6 months. And it's not like we're without flaws, we can just get over them and appreciate each other.
Knuckles11: His flaws aren't too big?
briska06: Nope. Alot of it is based in miscommunication when there's a problem, but I've had alot of experience with that already, so it's fairly quick to recognize when something's going amiss.
briska06: We like to say the same thing, using different words, several times over until one of us realizes that we're arguing the same point lol.
Knuckles11: Do you think having experience in relationships helps in working through relationship problems with Mike?
briska06: I do. Actually, our most recent rough patch was something exactly that had happened between me and Eric, but in reverse.
Knuckles11: Interesting. Is it very hard to spot problems that occurred in previous relationships?
briska06: This one hit me about ten minutes after I had handled the situation. Sometimes it happens right in the middle of the action, but it's better if I have time to think out what's going on. I like linking things back, because I hate having to make rash decisions

briska06: because I know what I did wrong with Eric, and I don't want to make the same mistakes with Mike
Knuckles11: I guess it's really important to look at previous relationships and analyze what went wrong huh?
briska06: I think so, yeah.
briska06: Because people make a lot of stupid mistakes in the heat of the moment, and regret it later.
briska06: You get time to realize what you did wrong, it gets better
Knuckles11: Do think it's possible to get over major disagreements in things like politics and religion?
briska06: Only if you can both accept that they shouldn't necesarily interfere with the relationship, and that you can function on a compromise.
briska06: *shrug*
Knuckles11: Sounds like it is a lot about compromise.
briska06: Mmhmm.
Knuckles11: I guess it's also important that you date someone as mature as you that can also compromise on issues huh?
Knuckles11: I'm thinking that was my problem with Kris.
briska06: yeah. It's definately difficult when you date someone who's still in the "everything has to be my way" kind of mindset. Mike & I are very much so codependent, although I'm more layed back then he is. You need a contrast between personalities (like workaholic/layed back), as well as a meeting of the minds.
Knuckles11: You'd make one hell of a relationship counselor.

Today I am going to apply for a job at Applebees. I can't stand being this broke anymore. I just had to scround for change, all change, to pay for a gallon or two of gas to get back home because I am that broke, and it's not going to get better anytime soon. I need something better than this Pathmark BS. Maybe I'll keep both jobs, but probably not.

Do you have to put a two week notice in at a grocery store job?

I was going to update here about the meaning of losing the hard drive on my other computer, about all the pics I had on it, and memories, etc.

And then I realized I kind of don't really care. Music I can acquire back from people, the important pictures were kept on random sites throughout the interweb, and... well... most conversations are better left deleted. Especially those influenced by double shots of vodka. (Not by me.)

I have decided I don't care about Art class. Eventually I will buy the class, and read to catch up. But I hate that this is a lecture. I can't understand when the teacher speaks, and it goes very quickly. But i'm taking what notes I hear, and jotting down the paintings we need to know.

I keep sneezing today, which either means I'm going to get into a meeeaaan fight, or I'm getting a cold. Bah.

i have lost my voice due to excessive awesomeness and good timing. It may be back tonight, or it may not. It's a good thing it's grafitti night, though, because the first time i'm going to write on my shirt is - Rush Gamma Sigma. I lost my voice for it! (Or something to that effect). Ah well. i don't think i'm moving til precalc tonight at 7:40 ... unless i go pick up my paycheck and some tylenol sore throat stuff, since i ran out yesterday morningish. We'll see. Back to bed for an hour, and then i'm going to study for bio, since i'm missing it. :/

Now, I consider myself a bit more educated than the average person on transexual issues, but this is the first time i've read where it is said to be a "condition qualif[ying] as an illness". I'm really surprised that an insurance company would cover the procedure, since the problem for most adult transexuals is that it's seen as something elective, and not medical.

Also, while i'm on the topic of health, the benefits of not smoking, broken down-like.

I got a B+ on my Winter Course. Yay!

Now i just have to boogie on over to College Hall to replace the F I got in precalc, and my average will be back on track.

Goal this year: B's in all classes, with an allowance of a C+ in Bio. Expected A in two classes, though.
